3rd SUSTAIN-T Partner Meeting in Sofia, BG
On 4-5 October 2018, partners attended the third transnational partner meeting within the Sustain-T project in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Learning Content is shaping up nicely, with 3 out of 6 modules finalized. Once it is ready, all tourism MSEs will be able to adequately understand the:
- proper management of tourism businesses, which takes into account the socio-economic development, use of resources and environmental protection
- proper use of environmental and cultural heritage as a driver for competitiveness of tourism destinations
- networking and collaboration in sustainability initiatives development
- effective marketing of sustainable tourist products for maximizing economic benefits to tourism businesses
The preliminary version of the IO3 tools have been also presented to the consortium. The Self-audit, Resource-mapping and Ideation tools will help tourism MSEs to assess their sustainability performance, to identify resources for improving their sustainability and to identify ideas for joint sustainable tourism initiatives.
Partners discussed topics related to project management, dissemination and exploitation and project quality management. Next tasks have been properly scheduled so that we have tangible results to present to our target group members on the forthcoming Training launch seminars that are to be held in March/April 2019. Until then, follow us on Facebook and Twitter and read more about the project on its website!
